    INGREDIENTS

    • bottle gourd (doodhi / lauki)
    • besan (Bengal gram flour)
    • whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
    • semolina (rava)
    • ginger-garlic (adrak-lehsun) paste
    • garlic (lehsun) pastegarlic (lehsun) paste
    • salt to taste
    • sugar as required
    • turmeric powder (haldi)
    • chilli powder
    • lemon
    • baking soda
    • oil
    • curds (dahi)

    INSTRUCTIONS
     

    • Grate doodhi,add oil,red chilli powder,turmeric,sugar(little),salt to taste,ginger,garlic and chilli paste,curd,soda,lemon and mix it well.
    • After this add gram(besan) and gehu flour and mix it.
    • Take oil(2-3 tsp) in kadhai add cumin seeds,mustard seeds,hing and spread this above mixture on it.mix it like a sabji till you get crisp bhuka form of it.
    • You can also cover it so that it gets cooked properly.

  • Instead of grating the lauki, you can even cut it in cubes and boil it until soft. then add it in the masala and mash well.
